E.P Carr Sr. and his wife Margaret founded Carr-Tenney Mortuary in 1905. They founded their business on the belief that if they truly serve families of the community in a seamless manner and put that family’s needs above all else, their business would be successful. Now, nearly 100 years later their business is still serving the families of Tempe. Each generation has renewed the commitment to serving their clients and their community.

Today at Carr-Tenney Mortuary, Dennis Sparks and his qualified staff of funeral directors stand ready to meet each and every need. The funeral home offers many service options, which include cremation services, traditional burial services, shipping services for those families wishing to have burial or cremation in another area of the country, and opportunities for pre-arrangements.
